At each modern jive dance class you  will learn  3 simple yet sophisticated dance moves to the latest pop music.  Modern Jive is  the trendiest, most social and most  fun way for men and women to learn to dance. It’s like a very modern version of jive and salsa and very easy to learn. You’ll look stylish dancing it in the clubs,  at weddings or on any social dance floor.  You’ll impress your friends  – so why sit at home watching “Dancing with the Stars” on TV when you can learn to dance like a star, stay fit and have fun doing it too? While most dance classes are an hour our weekly modern jive dance lessons offer a cool 2 1/2 half hours of combined dance instruction and social freestyle to the hottest tunes around (freestyle means dance practice time when the DJ takes over and we turn on the nightclub feeling).  While most dance classes only last 45 minutes! Jive Nation Toronto gives you much more – an hour of teaching plus over an hour of freestyle practice time to help cement what you’ve learned during the class.

For most of our students, freestyle is the most anticipated time of the evening. You get lots of time to practice what you’ve learned in the lesson and meet loads of great people – all on the same night!
